The term "retro" derives from the Latin word retro, meaning "backwards" or "in past times" and refers to a nostalgic view towards the past. Retro style design can be any kind of interior design that turns to the past decades for inspiration, but usually "retro" is used in connection with design styles that take their cue from the 1960s and 1970s. Also, these kinds of lamps will enhance any room inside the house. The kind of atmosphere it will create will contribute to the serenity and order inside the room. The sparkle it produces will even be of help to draw out the attention of children living inside the house. And most of us or even all wants such peace and calmness.
Dainty Lamp Designs, There are many dainty lamp designs that work well for a baby's nursery. Candlestick lamps continue to be quite popular, as are lamps that look like small lanterns. You'll also find small lamps with designer fabric shades that can add a decorative look to any little girl's nursery. These shades are often interchangeable, so you can choose one that works best with the room's overall color scheme. Small floral prints, pin dots, and storybook characters are all popular motifs for nursery lamps.
