The Konkylie light was designed by Louis Weisdorf for the Tivoli Garden in Copenhagen in 1963. It was partly inspired at a technical level by Verner Panton's Moon lamp. Louis Weisdorf created the design for his next pendant light called Turbo in 1965. Consisting of 12 uniform aluminium lamellae spiral-twisted to form a flower-like sphere, the Turbo was partly inspired by Japanese rice-paper lanterns.
Creating Your Own Custom Nursery Lamp, If you can't find the perfect lamp, consider making your own. You can find lamp kits online, which can be a great way of creating a custom accessory for the nursery. You can also decorate a small plain table lamp so that it perfectly matches your nursery decor. Just be sure to attach all decorating accessories securely. This will prevent your decorations from being pulled off by tiny fingers as your baby grows and becomes more mobile. It's also fun to make your own decorative shade by using fabric, fringe, and other trims to accessorize a plain lampshade. You can even add your baby girl's name to the shade with fabric letters or fabric paint for a very personalized touch.
Moroccan Lamp Color, Lamps often include colors such as green, blue, red, and yellow, and these colors are included in the lamp design as well as in the lampshades. The use of Henna painting involving intricate and exquisite designs by skilled artisans creates looks which are incredible. Some Moroccan lamps may include differing shades of the same colors, while others may involve contrasting colors very different look and appearance.
